Our Mission

WE's mission is to bring together, support, educate, and promote the physical and psychological health and safety of any and everyone connected to our local LGBTQIA+ community.
WE exists to combat and end any and all forms of discrimination against anyone based on gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, skin color, age, or socioeconomic status, ethnicity, or religious beliefs.

Our
Story
We haven’t been around very long! WE are the result of the brainstorm of retired teacher, James “Skip” Holder. Our first meeting was held in July of 2023.
In the little time we’ve existed, we’ve hosted garden parties, candlelight peace vigils, potluck dinners, movie nights, our birthday celebrations, Zumba classes, a Q&A with local newscaster, Jim Donovan. We’ve participated in Friendship Dinners, Farmer's Markets, Clean Communities Days and more.
Where we're going
WE have a lot more planned in the future! WE dream of being a widely recognized group and known for our deep dedication to bringing people together, supporting, educating, and promoting the physical and psychological health and safety of any and everyone connected to our local LGBTQIA+ community.
